I have had a bit of a revelation I would like to share with you. To understand how to get to where you are going, you must first know where you are – and it helps to understand how you got to where you are today. My most exasperating driving experience is hearing my co-piloting wife say, as she gazes at the map, “You should have turned left three streets back” – to which I invariable reply...

This has been a year of continual, unfolding revelation from Heaven. From my "near death" experience in Costa Rica where I was raised from the sick bed with the answer to a sixteen year question that unlocked the door to the Book of Hebrews – to the vision of a Passover experience that changed the life of everyone who joined us this spring for a "once in a lifetime" extravaganza – the Almighty has led by direct revelation, inspiration, and provision to make this the most spiritually profitable year of my ministry.

This summer, three generations of Roods alighted in the medieval town of Heidelberg, Germany to celebrate the wedding festivities of my youngest daughter, Jessica. Without European cell phones or Internet access outside the local Starbucks, we felt like we were plunged back into the dark ages of the 1980’s, when the only mobile communication options were phone booths or a string stretched between two tin cans. We strolled through a German forest above Heidelberg where Hansel and Gretel were last seen strewing breadcrumbs along the path. We canoed down the Neckar River in a pre-wedding family endurance test. We recorded the Shabbat Night Live teaching in front of Heidelberg Castle, filmed a short exposé in the Pharmakia museum (which you will see during my upcoming US Tour) – and for our grand finale, we celebrated Jessica’s twelve-hour-long German-American wedding extravaganza!
