The Mystery of Iniquity

Quick Overview

The Mystery of Iniquity
The Mystery of Iniquity exposes and extinguishes the strong delusion that has become a false hope of the modern Church – the snare that has been set by Satan through many years of working behind the scenes. What began as gentle misleading has, through the years, taken a winding path to the valley of full deception. The Mystery of Iniquity is the warning of Yahshua (Jesus), Shaul (Paul), and Yochannan (John) concerning the absolute prerequisites to the return of the Messiah to gather the saints at the end of the age. That warning is not futuristic prophesy as it was in their day, but reiterated in the context of the accomplished deception of the Church in our modern times.

The Mystery of Iniquity: The Legal Prerequisites to the Return of the Messiah

The first book in the Hebrew Roots messianic teaching series from Israel

The prophets have spoken and the world slumbers on, and with it the majority of the Christian Church which has been taken hostage by the scoffers' philosophy that "all things continue as they have since the fathers died. Where is the promise of his coming?” We have become willingly ignorant that just as the Almighty shook the earth in the days of Noah, He will shake it again; but not just the earth - this next time He will shake the heavens as well. The Day – the Millennium of the LORD is at hand!
The Mystery of Iniquity is a final warning to America and the world as to what is impending and cannot be avoided, regardless of our personal desires or plans for the future. The book documents the legal ramifications of Satan’s original rebellion, his authority as god of this age, his rebellious stand on earth with the Antichrist, and his final judgment at the throne of the Messiah. This is how the long war against GOD will play out in our lifetime.

The Mystery of Iniquity exposes the key event that will begin the last seven-year countdown to Armageddon and the physical act that will reveal the Anti-Messiah and constitute the final Abomination of Desolation prophesied by both Daniel and Yahshua.

I can't try to summarize the book via this review, the topic is too large. Mystery of Iniquity is for ANYONE that accepts the whole Bible as truth, and would like to take a fresh look at it, at face value. Mystery of Iniquity is a fresh examination of the End Times topic and is about much more than just the "rapture" issue. It's a frank, Bible-based, and overdue look at the nature of the God of the Hebrews and His Son -- what he expects of his children, and how they should go about conducting their lives ESPECIALLY IN THESE END TIMES. Ironically, this is accomplished by going back and examining our Hebrew roots, and church history. This was one of the first of the books in the current Messianic movement (a move toward following the Jewish Messiah, Yahshua, in a manner consistent with what he taught and how he lived, directly modeling obedience to God's law).

I reiterate that the book is Bible-based . . . the whole Bible. It is specifically NOT based on the manufactured doctrine of any religious denomination (thus, a "fresh look"). Rood's book was powerful enough to talk me out of my 45 year old traditional "pre-trib rapturist" position. Not a change to be easily made (except with God's leading??). Maybe part of a general movement among God's people in these times, as Rood alludes to.

I believe Rood is right on target. I also note that his eschatological teaching is quite similar to the position of author Marvin Rosenthal, as explained in his excellent "The Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Church" (which I also recommend as some non-denominational Bible-based original thinking).

The Mystery of Iniquity, a term lifted directly from the New Testament, is revealed as the distorted teachings of the organized church religious system. Read and evaluate it for yourself. By all means, read it. Truly, my life changed. Reading this along with some writings by other authors of like mind, a renewed study of the Bible, and even travel to Israel, I ultimately chose to resign from the mainstream church system and "follow Him". It has been revolutionary and spiritually fulfilling. I will add that I don't agree 100% with everything that Michael Rood has taught. That's OK. I can think for myself now. And I credit Rood for some of that.

Sounds scary, but needn't be. No courage required. One need only the willingness to examine the scriptures outside of the artificial box in which they function. This is not a cultic movement, but rather a return toward pure Biblical truth. The truth which Jesus/Yahshua taught and lived. Rood's Mystery of Iniquity is not a bad guidebook with which to begin your quest. A powerful book.

I rarely underline/highlight the books I read, mainly Non-Fiction, and have quite a library myself thanks to working as a used book dealer. Many sit on my shelves going unread...(so many books, so little time)...this book is the exception. I've hi-lighted my favorite parts that i want to read and re-read, to let it sink in. I only mark in books I plan on getting more copies of, to give away/loan to friends and family. I've read escatalogical books since I was 10 or so, and few books have impacted me like The Mystery of Iniquity. Upon reading this book I was blown away/thrown for a loop. Aside from the Holy Bible, it's one of the best I've ever read! Get several copies!!! Nuff said.

I can but agree with most of the reviewers here.
Ultimately, if Michael Rood is wrong in his interpretation about the Rapture, and the Rapture occurs either pre or mid-tribulation, then true Christian believers have nothing to lose. If the author is right however, and the Rapture occurs towards the end of the Tribulation, then Christians everywhere owe it to themselves to have been made aware of his interpretation.

Some of what the author covers in relation to Biblical prophecy and it's interpretation to date has bothered me previously. His coverage of such clarifies a number of matters for me personally.

I can only recommend this book to ALL scholars and Christians who are seeking the truth surrounding Biblical Prophecy, the Rapture and the return of Our Lord Jesus. We must all be accountable to search the Scriptures ourselves whilst seeking prayerful insight to the truth.

I would hate not to have read this book. Being prepared, in full possession of the facts so that we are not going to be deceived in that day is essential. If you read this book and disagree with the message and interpretation, then that is a matter for the individual. But we do really owe it to ourselves to be aware of what the author is saying here.
