Shalom, A Rood Awakening Family! 🌿  😃

We’re excited to begin a new cycle of weekly Torah 📖 readings together, starting with Parashat Beresheet (Genesis 1:1–6:8) - In the Beginning!

As we open the Scriptures and revisit the very foundations of our faith, may this new journey draw us closer to the Creator, deepen our understanding of His Word, and strengthen our walk with Him.

This year, we have something new for you! We’ve added audio recordings of the Scripture readings to the Parashah page, making it easier for you to listen, follow along, and engage with the weekly portion wherever you are.

We invite you to visit the page, explore the readings, listen to the audio, and join us as we discover the richness and beauty of the Torah together.

May Yehovah bless your study, open your eyes to the treasures of His Word, and guide your steps as we begin this new cycle.

Let’s begin at the beginning — Beresheet! 🌱

Shalom and blessings to you and your family!

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing well and enjoying this time together as a community.

As we come to the final Torah portion in the annual reading cycle, I wanted to share this infographic on VeZot HaBracha—The Final Blessing of Moses.

Moses’ journey is coming to an end, but Israel’s journey will continue. His final words remind us that what we teach, model, and pass on can reach far beyond our own lifetime.

Take a look at the infographic and share your thoughts with us:

What stands out to you in Moses’ final words? And perhaps more personally—what are we passing on to the next generation?

I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

Shalom, A Rood Awakening family!

This week we continue our journey through the Torah with Shoftim — “Judges,” from Deuteronomy 16:18–21:9.

In these chapters, Yehovah teaches Israel about justice, righteous leadership, the responsibilities of judges and kings, and the importance of hearing and obeying His Word. These ancient instructions still have much to teach us about how Yehovah desires His people to live today.

We invite you to visit this week’s Shoftim page at A Rood Awakening, where you’ll find teachings and resources to help you dig deeper into this portion of Scripture.

Visit the Shoftim page and continue exploring the Torah with us this week!

Shabbat Shalom!
