When Facing a Crisis of Faith

1 Peter 4;12-13

 Beloved ones, do not be surprised at the fiery trial that is coming upon you, to try you, as though some unusual matter has befallen you,

13 but as you share Messiah’s sufferings, rejoice, in order that you might rejoice exultingly at the revelation of His esteem.

14 If you are reproached for the Name of Messiah, you are blessed, because the Spirit of esteem and of Elohim rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is praised.

Verse of the Week: Psalm 118:24

“This is the day that Yehovah has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Sometimes we need to come back to the simple truth of this verse. Today is not random. It is not outside of God’s sight. It is not detached from His purposes. This day, with all of its responsibilities, uncertainties, blessings, and challenges, is still a gift from Yehovah.

That does not mean every day is easy. Scripture never calls us to pretend that life is without trouble. But it does call us to remember who holds the day. The One who made it is still in control. He is faithful when circumstances feel uncertain. He is present when we feel weak. He is working even when we cannot see the whole picture.

For those who belong to Yeshua, rejoicing is not based on everything going perfectly. It is based on the character of Yehovah. We rejoice because He is good. We rejoice because He is sovereign. We rejoice because Yeshua has overcome, and because our hope is anchored in Him rather than in the shifting conditions around us.

So, this week, receive each day as His gift. Whatever the week holds, choose rejoicing. Not because everything is simple, but because Yehovah is faithful. Not because you know every outcome, but because the One who made the day is still ruling over it. Walk through it with gratitude. Face what comes with steadfastness. Choose joy where worry wants to take root. And keep your eyes on Yeshua, the One who gives us every reason to rejoice and be glad.

Stop following your imagination. Obey what is written.

The greatest deception is not rejecting God's Word—it's replacing it with your own ideas.
Most people don't ask, "What is written?"

They ask, "What do I feel?"
Yeshua never followed His feelings. He followed the Father's instructions.
When Satan tempted Him, He didn't say, "I think..."

He said, "It is written."
Your opinion is not truth.

Your emotions are not authority.

Your imagination is not revelation.
If what you're doing contradicts Scripture, you're not following God—you're following yourself.
Stop rewriting God's commands to fit your lifestyle.
Start conforming your life to what is written.

In need of Courage, Stay the course!

Rev. 12;10 -11

And I heard a loud voice saying in the heaven, “Now have come the deliverance and the power and the reign of our Elohim, and the authority of His Messiah, for the accuser of our brothers, who accused them before our Elohim day and night, has been thrown down.

“And they overcame him because of the Blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their witness, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Verse of the Week: John 20:21

“Yeshua said to them again, ‘Shalom aleichem! As My Father has sent Me, I also send you.’”

After the resurrection, Yeshua did not merely comfort His disciples. He commissioned them. His first word was shalom, peace, and from that place of peace He sent them forward with purpose. The Father sent Yeshua with truth, authority, and obedience, and now Yeshua sends His followers in the same spirit: to carry His message, reflect His character, and walk faithfully in the calling He gives.

This verse reminds us that being sent by Messiah is not about self-promotion or religious performance. It is about representing the One who sent us. The disciples were not left alone in fear; they were given peace, direction, and a mission. In the same way, we are called to step out with confidence, knowing that the One who sends us also goes with us.

To be sent by Yeshua is to live as a witness of the coming Kingdom. We do not go out as those trying to build our own name or defend our own reputation. We go as servants of the King who is returning to Jerusalem, restoring Israel, judging the nations in righteousness, and filling the earth with the knowledge of the glory of Yehovah.

The peace Yeshua gives is not passivity. It is the settled confidence of those who know how the story ends. The same Messiah who breathed peace over fearful disciples will return in power, and until that day, He sends His people into a troubled world as faithful witnesses.

This means our call is both simple and costly. We proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom. We bear witness to the crucified and risen Messiah. We love Israel and the nations according to the promises of God. We endure with patience. We refuse fear. We walk in holiness, humility, and obedience, keeping the commandments of Yehovah and keeping the faith in Yeshua knowing that the One who sends us will also sustain us.

So, this week, receive the shalom of the risen Messiah before you step into the work He has placed before you. Serve as one sent by the King, bearing witness to His coming Kingdom with courage, humility, endurance, and obedience.
