In that episode we read Galatians 4:9–10, pointing that “days, months, seasons, and years” do not condemn the biblical feasts. The “weak and poor elements” refer to pagan practices and obedience performed with the wrong heart, not to the feasts established by God. The emphasis is on the fact that outward obedience without a right heart is useless.
