Never Fear, YAH is near!

2 Timothy 1-7 ISR

"For Elohim has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power and of love and of self-control."

Verse of the Week: Acts 3:21

“Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.”

This verse reminds us that Yeshua is not absent because the story has stalled. He is seated in heaven until the appointed time when Yehovah sends Him back to complete what the prophets promised.

The hope of the faithful is not “going to heaven.” It is the return of the King, the restoration of all things, the redemption of Israel, the judgment of wickedness, and the establishment of righteousness among the nations.

Peter did not preach vague religious optimism. He preached Yeshua as the crucified, risen, and returning Messiah. The prophets were not speaking in abstractions. They spoke of Jerusalem, Israel, the nations, resurrection, judgment, mercy, and the reign of the Son of David. Biblical hope is concrete. It has geography. It has history. It has a throne.

So, this week, let Acts 3:21 correct small thinking. The gospel is personal, but it is not private. Yeshua willingly died in the place of the guilty party, but He will also come to restore all things. He forgives, but He also reigns. He comforts His people, but He also calls them to readiness, holiness, witness, and endurance.

The proper response is not date-setting or speculation. It is repentance, sobriety, prayer, love for Israel, compassion for the nations, and faithful proclamation of Yeshua until He comes.

“Moreover I gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between Me and them, that they might know that I am Yehovah who sanctifies them.” --Ezekiel 20:12

Shavuot Was More Than the Giving of the Commandments

In the middle of a fast-moving culture filled with noise, opinions, and distractions, Shavuot reminds us of something essential: the people of  were not called merely to believe, but to listen and obey.

Shavuot commemorates the moment when Yehovah gave His Torah at Mount Sinai. It was not simply the giving of commandments, but the establishment of a covenant relationship. Israel learned that freedom without direction eventually leads to confusion. After leaving Egypt, the people needed to learn how to live as a set-apart nation.

The same is true today. Many people seek spirituality, inspiration, or emotional experiences, yet few are willing to submit their lives to the instruction of the Creator. Shavuot calls us back to the foundation: to hear the voice of Yehovah, walk in His ways, and allow His Word to transform the way we think, speak, and live.

It also reminds us that true spiritual maturity does not come from human traditions or cultural trends, but from a life led by the Spirit and aligned with Truth. In a time when the world constantly redefines what is right and wrong, Shavuot invites us to remain firmly grounded in what Yehovah established from the beginning.

May this feast become an opportunity to renew our commitment to the Torah, grow in obedience to Yeshua the Messiah, and bear fruit worthy of the calling we have received.
